trans go no go

i just got over a 3 week ordeal of trying to get my tranny to work, i got the transgo kit where u can make the tranny semi auto and it was nothing but a nightmare, i read the directions and followed every word perfect but had nothig but problems so i got another valve body and tried again and the same problem, till i finally decided to go back to stock and see what happens so i got but another valve body with the trans go separator plate and the mr shift recalibration spring kit and wow the tranny works so nice now, nice firm shifts. i have still yet to figure out what went wrong i think it was the plugs that the kit uses but i dunno it was a fresh rebuild with just about everything new so i dont think it was the tranny, has anyone ever had a problem like this???

iv had a problem with my tranny not going after moding it with a b&m but i think the tranny was modded to begin with.
do you have line pressures with it installed? what was the problem didn't move at all? no spinning of the tires off the ground?

i had very low line pressure it was in spec in park and netural but in the moving gears it was really low as far as what it was doing was it was not starting in first possibly 3rd it only had 2 gears and teh reverse needed about 1500+ rpm to make the car go backwards, pulled it all out and followed the mr shift recalibration the only think i left from the shift kit was the servo set up now everyhting is nice, i think the shift kit is over rated

just for an opposing view, i have a trans go shift kit installed in my transmission and it works great. nice, firm, crisp, clean shifts.

i think it is a very good kit for the money. the b&m kit comes with a lot less and i think it is not worth the $40 they ask for it. imo

I just put in a trans go shift kit and i love it. It will always chirp the tires when it goes into 2nd gear. i love it. I dont really trust B&M after alot of research. Trans-Go means MORE-GO
