I need a new 700r4 for my 84 trans am. I found somebody with a 700r4 out of a 85 chevy astro and was wondering if its a straight bolt in or not. I know ill prolly have to change the tailshaft housing b/c of the torque bar, but other than that, are there any problems i would encounter? I don twant to buy a transmission and i cant use it, and im getting this one for a good deal so any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Jeremy.
