V6 & V8 trans

Are the V6 transmissions as strong as V8 transmissions would a V6 transmission handle the 350's torque? or would i need a transmission from a V8

No,V-6 trannies are weaker than a v-8,and if your talking about the T-5 5 speed, the V-8 version is barely strong enough for a stock 350

actually their the same strength. its just that the spline count is different and you'd have to get a custom clutch.

Fewer splines means smaller shaft means less strength.
