what could cause play in drivtrain??
I recently swapped enginemounts and transmount on my car because I thought this was the reason why acceleration often is very jumpy. But imagine my dissappointment when I went out driving and it was still doing it!! Even without pressing the gaspedal (but 1st gear in place) it often sort of "jumps" forward. Feels like riding a camel or something
Feels like there is play in the drivetrain somwhere.
Does anyone have any idéa what is causing this jumpy ride?

did you use the right bolts installing them.
Maybe its some loose bolts connecting your drive shaft to your differential

Yes I used the original bolts and tightened everything very thoroughly. So I seriously doubt it's loose bolts... atleast not on the parts I just swapped. If I were to guess I'd say it feels like there is some play in between tranmission and all the way to the wheels... somewhere.... but where??? I've noticed this phenomena on other older sports cars but not as violent as this.

As for the shocks a bounce test will eliminate them, for the springs basically when your cars going down the road looking like your hauling a load of firewood in the back thats when they need replacing
