T-56 from a 94 TA info please
Ok so I just bought a T-56 from a 94 TA. I really need to get filled in on what all the connections are. I wish i was at home cuz then I could post pics. But oh well I will describe stuff as much as possible.
Is the electrical connection on the right hand side the speedo signal sending unit?
What is the big connection next to the shifter?
What is the hose on the top of the tranny, neer the middle? (vent?)
This has the same amount of splines on the shaft, so I can run my stock driveshaft?
Where can I get an aluminum driveshaft?
Where is the reverse light hookup on the tranny? (Left side, neer rear?)
And finally, what is the gear pattern, in other words where is the reverse? It is not in the car yet, and I know I could easily find out once it is, but can someone just tell me? Thanks everyone.

Reverse is right and up, unless you hook up the reverse lockout solenoid connector the brake switch or another 12v source (momentary switch?) you have to overpower the solenoid manually which just takes a little extra effort, theres like a spring there..
I'm pretty sure the connector on the drive side of the tranny close to the shifter is for the reverse lockout.. Stock driveshaft will work fine, and you can get any 82-02 aluminum driveshaft.. You see them for sale here and cz28.com all the time.. If not you might try the dealer as a last resort but I don't know what they charge..
That's about all I'm good for I'm sure someone else will answer the rest
