I just found out that my rear isn't a posi. I have a 9 bolt that I could swap into it, but it's not in top shape. What do posi's go for i'm looking for a cheap way out. I read something about a mini spool. It's going behind a somewhat mild 355, with a t5. thanks

 

How do I know if it's a 3 series carrier, I was looking at posis on ebay. Would the pinion gear I have now work with this.

 

I didn't mean swap into it, and I meant ring gear, not pinion, long day.

 

what gear is in it know?

any carrier with a 3.08 and lower set of gears would be a 2 series carrier and anything numericaly higher would be a 3 series carrier.
