The GF's tranny is very long gone and we are looking to get a beefier one. As of right now its a stock 89 350 TPI with S-10 stall. Only mods we will add will be a 9lbs Procharger. Track time will be 1 or 2 weekends a year. Mostly for show and normal driving. I see the stage 1 is for 475 HP 2 is for 550 HP and 3 is for 650 HP

I've kinda ruled out the stage 3 already.

The Street/Strip unit with the HD steel sleeve & cryoed forward piston option should be what you need. You will need to go to a 9.5" lockup if you want this to last, your torque converter is to heavy & inefficent, and is hard on the drivetrain. The 9.5" will take off about 17 pounds of rotating mass off of the back of the crankshaft.
