10 bolt q's

how much has everyone thrown at there ten bolt rear ends, if i set it up nice what the lowest et you would run without taking a chance that it will mess anything up.

if you don't want to take a chance that it'll "mess up" the best thing to do would be to not drive the car.

well the way i have been doing things, it looks like the rear end is gonna wait till last, i am just wondering if i could mess around witht the car on the street until i can buy a 12 blot or something.

Engine: 350 cid from a 69 chevy truck
Transmission: original 700r4
I am in the middle of a rearend swap in my 86 Ta , the stock rear was a 10 bolt open and 2.73 gears. and one to many burnouts and it gave up.

the pinion gear and bearing suffered the most damage.
