I have a hurst in mine, and i've missed third a couple of times. I know how to shift also. I'ts no good when you have no rev limiter. I'm going to buy the pro 5.0 next.

my buddy has got a hurst in his mustang with a t-5 and he hates it. 3rd and 4th gears are ahrd to shift into and because he missied a gear it caused the 3rd/4th gear synchro to fail and the shifter was stuck in 4th gear. u should probably go with the B&M
-t5's arent rated for that much horsepower so a built 355 might be too powerful. u might want to look into a t56 and if u get the t56 with a double oerdrive then u can run a 4.11 gear and stilll cruise on the highway

I wish I knew what I have in my t5, I bought it with my last car. It was behind a powerful 355 with no trouble. I rebuilt it recently, hopefully it will work out.
