My wife and I are the proud new owners of an original '84 Trans am with 77k miles! The car is in awesome shape with a new 350 installed properly by the P.O., great interior, solid exterior and underbody, and a great shifting b-w 5 speed! I can't wait to figure out how to post pics of it! There was one thing about the car that was driving me insane though, this "cricket" noise by the clutch whenever the clutch was out. I was goin' freekin' crazy! Thankfully I used the "search" button, and found the tech article about the clutch shift fork, did what was said, and presto! No noise! This is a great site and I wanted to say kudos for all the info here!
