problem with tranny...i think
Heres the deal, i will be driving along with my car in overdrive, and it will hesitate and the rpms will drop from like 2500 to about 2000and then it will go back up, and when i am driving through a town at 25 it will sound like my car is chugging. It almost sounds like it is slipping but i cannot tell for sure. I don't know the signs of a 700r4 going to crap, so if someone could help me out that would be great.

sounds like you need to adjust your throttle cable. it is too far out(away from the firewall). this is causing your shift points to be way too low and it is trying to shift into od too early. it dropping from 2500rpm's to 2000rpm's sounds like it shifting into od(you didn't specify speed). the "chugging" at 25 mph could be the same problem. mine in drive at 40mph will only turn 2000rpm's. depending on your rear end ratio, you might be turning some low rpm's. for the most part, it sounds about right. just try adjusting teh cable some.

That diagram didn't really help me...it shows a 2.8, and mine looks totally different, well anyways, my car acts weird everyday...shift points are screwed up, the rpms jump at about 60 mph and it seems like the engine is missing, when the tranny gets warm it seems like my shift kit isn't even doing anything. I don't know what all this could be, are you pretty confindent that it is the TV cable? And one more question, do shift kits wear out? I bought the car with it so i don't know how long the life is on them. It works fine from shift 1-2, but after that it shifts normal and it seems like my car is slow as heck. Thanks for the input 87zjeff.
