Engine: chevy 400
Transmission: 700r4
Can u put a 4 speed in 1995 LT1

I want a munual trans but wand some thing cool so can i put an old 4 speed in 1995 camaro Z28 if so what would i need or can some one let me know whon can help me to do so.

Why, the old 4 speeds (Borg T10, Muncie, Saginaw) have 1 piece brass synchros that are very very very slow shifting compared to modern manual transmissions. Plus no overdrive renders an otherwise nice street car very unpleasant on the highway. The only reaction you'd get from people with your proposed setup is, why did you use that 30 year old transmission behind a modern engine? I'd be looking at a T56 or aftermarket alternative
