Car: 1991 Camaro RS
Engine: 3.1L V-6
Transmission: 700R4 4spd Auto
3.1L to 3.8L
I have a 91 Camaro RS with the 3.1L in it. I want to put a 3.8L from a 1999-2004 in the car and eventually put a turbo on it. I would like to know if the 4 spd 700R4 I have in the car now will bolt directly to the 3.8L block or does the casing need to be changed. I believe that they are the same blocks but not sure.
