3.08 gear
hey guys im new here and i have a 1992 z28 convertible and it has a stock rear end 2.73 I have a spare 3.08 ring and pinion lying around and i was wondering if it was worth the money of installation to upgrade or to save for bigger ratio 200$ and spacer and all that? Or what would be the performance gain of swaping the gears in the first place? im not wanting a crazy drag car but a nice streetable car. thanks kyle

You won't notice a difference, I tried to get out the cheap way too and basically everyone will tell you not to bother. Most say 3.23s aren't even worth the time.
