Which Driveshaft............exactly Which One (aluminum) -98-02

went to see if the wreckers and they want to know what exact driveshaft i need. Say the LS1 (v8) came with a variety. In total they said there was 6 different aluminum shafts. They want to know the gear ratio in the rearend of the LS1 car shaft i want was. They also want to know what transmission the LS1 car had.

Does anybody what the hell?????????

I gotta an 86 iroc 305 (one day 383 stroker) 5 speed tranny. pretty sure 373 rearend.

Any thoughts would be greatly appretiated................

They all fit, gear ratios do not affect the size/length of the shaft. My auto 86 T/A has a shaft from a manual 95 LT1 camaro. They are universal between T5s, T56s, and 700R4s from 1982-2002 as far as I've seen..

If it's stock:
auto= 700R4
manual= T5

Not that it matters, both driveshafts swap over.

Juat ask for one out of a 3.23 auto, or a 3.42 6-speed car.
