G80 & G92

Whats the detailed differences in these 2 if any? Mine is G92. What do I have. I'm still learning things about my car.

Car: 1987 Black IROC-Z (SOLD)
RPO G80=limited slip rear.
RPO G92=performance axle ratio + additionl items depending on the model year the equipment varied.

Axle/Gears: 3.43
AFAIK the G92 is a posi and complete suspension package also, which allows it to pull the .92 on the g pad (hence the G92 code...)

Yep the G80 is a posi, could be any ratio such as a 2:56 even. The G92 is a performance ratio, say a 3:23 in a third or fourth gen car.

Engine: 350
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 2.77
g92 gears were usually lower depeding on what year. they were typically 3.45 for 305 manual and 3.27 for 350 auto with 9 bolts. they were different in 10 bolts. G92 also added engine oil cooler and on 1989 pbr brakes, I have owned 2 1989's not familiar with other years.
