i have a formula with a b/w aluminum 4 speed and i installed the 82-83 manual clutch linkage. clutch is a larger truck clutch with what i assume is a truck pressure plate ..(what i heard when i had a friend do the clutch years ago)he said it was 10" or somethin oversized? now its old but it grabs tight never slips but lately it feels like it doesnt release the gear all the way and my trans shifts rough. i tried adjusting it and it still feels bad and the clutch now grabs way high?do the springs in the pressure plate get affected with cold to hot conditions?? and what should i get as a replacement. im daily driven but i want what will be the fastest period.

 

its been a week since the first thread...the clutch has been getting worse even though i have been adjusting it more and more...and now grinding..i will do the clutch soon..if anyone can tell me what size and style clutch and pressure plate i should use..that would be greatly appreciated....save me again...
