Transmissions and Drivetrain Need help with your trans? Problems with your axle?

Any way to make a V8 700r4 work on a v6.

Engine: GM Crate ZZZ HO 350, Edelbrock head
Transmission: Rebuilt 700r4 all TransGo and Beast
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.73 gears
Any way to make a V8 700r4 work on a v6.

Is there anything you can do? Some guy wants to buy the trans but has a v6. thanks.

Engine: 355 TPI siamesed runners
Transmission: Tremec T56
Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
He needs an adapter plate. No idea where to buy one but I bet Summit or Jegs has them. Also try a tranny place like B&M or TCI.

Axle/Gears: '01 3.42 10 bolt
if he has the 4.3 v-6 it will be a fairly direct swap. no adapter plate needed.

how much would these adapter plates run me? are we talking small change or liek it not being worth it? its a stock v6 from a 91 bird if it helps. thanks a lot. o yea, and teh trans is from a 90 camaro with the vss.

Uhm... check prices on Summit or Jegs websites, or try TCI or B&M.

i believe the v6 guy you are talking about is me i only want the shift kit theres no need for that transmission on my little v6 with only bolt ons.
