Quick rear end question

So I got my car running real well today. (finally) And I did the obligatory victory burn out and I noticed that there are 2 tire marks and not one. I had pulled the rear cover a while back to replace the oil and found that in lieu of the stock 2.37's I had a 3.42. It did not look like a posi or LS unit but I really dont know what I am looking for. Can some one post a pic of a posi or LS carrier? Thanks!

well i don't have a pic of one, but i do know that sometimes an open diff will spin both tires if in the right conditions

) but I posted a good close up of my posi in my '82 trans-am. I've only posted maybe 3 threads in the trans forum ever, so the one with the paperclip is the one you want.
