Reverse Not Working Help

I put it in reverse and heard a thunk and then reverse no longer worked...Then all the sudden the whole engine started smoking and coolant came rushing from under the car. WHAT HAPPENED.

Its a 92 Rs Camaro Auto

Ouch! What did you do a neutral drop. hahah JP. If you ask me you got problems but no really check these things out.

My thoughts


Your radeator took a massive dump in turn causing your trans to lose fuild if you have trans cooler lines running to the radeator.

First things first check under the hood, under the car then come back and post your fiinds more details the better. BTW check all your fuilds too. can't help you with out details

was it hot cold running bhal bhla

ok so i checked under the hood. And i found where the coolant came from it broke a heater core hose connector so i replaced that. I didn't see anything obviously damaged under the car. I did notice that i have a cable under my hood right next to the carberator that has a screw coming out of the end but i don't know if it was like that. The fluids levels where all ok besides the obvious coolant. It was hot when it did this and no i didn't do a nuetral drop. I was just backing up and heard it.

that happened to a car I used to own. does you car have a clunk when it shifts from 1-2 under acceleration.
