Polished alluminum pans?
I bought a TCI street fighter th350 awhile back and I have never gotten the chrome pan it came with to stop leaking.
Are polished alluminum pans better about not leaking?
Jeg's has a "jeg's" brand cast polished allumium pan I was thinking about picking up. These worth it?
Or should I spend 110$ on a fabricated alluminum pan?

Aluminum trans pans can be beneficial for 3 reasons;1)They add to structual rigidty of the case(most trans cases are aluminum also) - aluminum pans are constructed of thicker material which leads to 2)thicker sealing flange for less distortion when bolts are torqued down and 3)aluminum will disapate heat faster/better than steel pans - and especially chrome steel pans.

Main issue I am looking to resolve is the pan leaking.
I went as far as grinding the chrome off the lip of my current pan and it still leaks.
I almost ordered a cast alluminum B&M pan but I am afraid it will hang down to far and possibly get hit.
