i have recently purchased a 91 z28 camaro and in the process of installing some body mods(ferrari f40 kit from EVO). the car will be a total of 9" wider in the rear after completion. i will need to fill the wheel wells with wider rims as a suggestion from the body kit company. they suggested some 17"x 13.5" wide rims. im having problems finding rims of that size. i would like to upgrade the tranny and rear end to put behind a supercharged motor, but i dont know what would be a good combonation that would hold up to this motor and all that rubber. if you have any suggestions i would deffinatley appreciate the help. also, would it be better to put in longer axles to reduce the wheel size? i kind of like the idea of wide wheels in the back, but i will sacrifice if i have to.
