I am looking all over for the zexel torsen differential from a reputable company(the $100 one) It seems like a very popular diff but I cant find one. any help would be great.

It was popular, mainly because it was cheap, but since the production of the F-body stopped, SLP stopped having a supply of them, and have subsequently ran out of them.

If you call Sam Strano jr at strano autoparts he can sell you an improved version of it called a T2R which is awesome for autocross and road racing. They are about $500 if I remember correctly. Or you can go to Ebay and look for a used one.

the t2r hmm.. That looks like a good unit. However that is a steep price for a diff. Its amazing that a diff can go from $100 for one model to $500 in one jump. But I will se what is in the used market for that.
Thanks

The reason the SLP Zexel Diff was soo cheap because it was a take off unit, it was required that they sell them as used parts, that is why its so cheap. most aftermarket diffs run 350-600 depending on what you want.

I see what you mean. That would explain the price difference.
