Need a new Diff/ new gear ?

My posi on my car stoped working so I need to get a new differntial. My question is what is better the Auburn pro series limited slip or an Eaton ? Also i figure while i am getting a new diff in why not put in a new ring and pinion and go from 3.23 to some 3.42's. How much will going to 3.42 affect my speedo and how can i correct it ?

I would go with the Eaton posi unit. I have had pretty good luck with a couple of these units in mustangs. In the camaros I have always just rebuilt the stock unit for the 10 bolt rearend. There is really no reason to spend alot of money on the stock rearend.
