Engine: L69

Transmission: T-5

T-5 swap ecu?

Do I need to change computers? I'm going from a 700r4 to a t-5. The t-5 is from a L69 and is going on my LB9.

Probalbly should, but I didn't when I did my swap and I've had no problems or DTC's.

trans came from an '84 t/a, so I guess it's an L69. I put it in my '88 ws6 with an LB9.

Transmission: T56, T5

no need to swap ecm's. actually, you can run the auto memcal, I did for months since I was too lazy to pull the ecm down and reprogram the prom.
I reprogrammed teh chip for a T5 and noticed no change whatsoever in driveability.
