flywheel cover

I recently took my car to the shop to have some stuff done to it, and one of the things that i wanted done was to have the flywheel cover put back on. Since they told me that it wouldnt fit since im using an older motor, and the fly wheels bigger,
I dont know what to do. Im pretty sure driving without it is a bad thing but right now i dont ahve a choice. Anyone know where i could get a flywheel cover that will go over my flywheel? I checked summit, jegs, and yearone and none of them had it.
