My New Rear End Have a question

I just bought this rear end. Its from a 2002 Camaro. The only question I have is what is this senor. Does it need to be hook up or can I leave it alone.

IIRC that is the abs sensor for the ring gear. I don't beleive you have to hook it up. there is a gear inside the diff for the 4th gens for the abs.

Yeah, that's nothing but extra decoration on a thirdgen car since we don't have ABS. Just leave it unhooked. I'd probably just unplug the wires at the sensor, and remove the wiring harness so you don't have it just dangling there.
