converter opinion please!!

Hey everyone, I'm looking at buying a torque converter for my 700r4 and have around $500 to spend, and am curious on what everyone would recomend. I don't want to have to buy twice! are brands like edge or west coast converters any good? How much would a yank cost? I've got a 355, 10.2:1 compression, 230 and 236 duration at .050", 3.73 gears, 750 dp carb.
I would greatly appriciate any input... Thanks Luke.

Altough I have no first hand experience, I have heard alot of praise for Edge. Brutalform ordered one recently. I will ask him to post his opinion after it is in and track tested.

I've also heard good things about Hughes converters. Do a search in the parts for sale section. There was a guy selling one recently for $150 shipped.
