91 rear end

is the rer end out of a mid 80s s10 blazer the same as my 91 camaro ? The reason im askin is because i heard that they were the same and i can get a hold of the 4.11 gears out of it for free!

you can use the diff but thats all.. the houseing is different i would also have to look into the axle size since the F-day is a 26 spline i know that a 89 full side is a 32 spline thats the only think i would check to make sure it will work... it sure woudl suck if you swap out the diff and spend all the tie settign the end play and you go to pop your axles back in and they won't fit....

The gears will work for sure. I'm not sure about the carrier itself though. Mid 80's f-bodies used 26 spline axles. Not sure what spline the S-10's used in those years, but probably the same. Your 91 has 28 spline axles.
