2.8 tranny v8 swap
I have a friend who just got an 84 camaro with the v6 and im going to do the v8 swap for him my question is what tranny would this thing have?and would I be able to use it with the 305 ho im putting in it?

It will be the 6-cyl version of the 700.
No it will not work with a V8. The bolt pattern is different. And internally, it has less clutches and is otherwise weenier.
