Wierd sound, like Input Shaft Play or somethin
I temporarily have a T5 in my Camaro, and if I tap the gas or push in the clutch and let it out real quick, or anything that makes the car buck/jolt, there is this clunking sound comming from the front of the tranny area. It only happens when between 1000-1500rpm. It sounds like grabbing the input shaft and pushing it down,up,down,up,etc. It dosent happen real fast, and no matter what speed, it always clunks at the same rate. I checked the tranny mount, crossmember, tranny to bellhousing bolts, bellhousing to engine bolts, and the flywheel, all tight.
Is it just cuz the engine dosent make much power under 1500, and dosent like have to work at that low of rpm? So its bucking like when getting a bad start with a manual tranny, but while moving
