Need Help With My Trans Swap....

First off I have a 1991 Trans Am GTA with a 350ci With the auto tranny. I am going to be putting a 5 speed in there (t56 down the road but have other priorties right now). My donor vehicle is a 1986 Camaro Z28 with a 305 5 speed. I am pretty knowledgeable with cars and have done trans swaps and rebuilds before. My question is will these swap fine and will my electroincs be a problem? Will putting the 5sp in cause any running problems or my Engine light to come on? Does this trans bolt right up to my engine? And lastly will the rest of the parts fit with little to no problems? Is there any advice or tips you can give me? I have the link to the swap info on this site I just wanted to ask with the info specific to my 2 cars. Below is a pic of my donor Camaro. Thanks in advance.

Your going to need to get the T5 VSS (speed) sensor in order for the speedo to work. The 700R4 one will not swap into a T5.

Make shure that your have the T5 torque arm bracket. Alot of people forget this part. Again, the 700R4 bracket will not swap.

Get the pigtails for the VSS sensor and Reverse switch.

Your auto ECM will work fine. - no check engine light as long as you have the speedo working.

Trans will bolt up fine as long as you have the parts. ( manual flywheel, bellhousing, etc....)

Check out the T5 swap guide in my sig for some more info.

yep, he'll need a new flywheel.

I have a T5 electric VSS for a 3.23 geared rear and the pigtails for the VSS and reverse lights, and a flywheel for sale if you need them.
