Pressure gauge is jumping a lot
Looking at my pressure gauge on my 700R4, the needle jumps constantly, it doesnt just sit at one position, it jumps back and forth rapidly +/- 10 PSI. The pressure rnge that it reads seems ok, but when I get on it, it doesnt seem to respond correctly. Could the gauge be messed up, or what?
It's a 0-300PSI gauge with 7' of hose.

Without actually checking, I assume i dont have enough fluid. Several reasons, I think that the jumping is caused by air in the line because there is insuficient fluid, and my feeling that the tranny is slipping.
I will check tommorow and see if that is the case. I hope so, cause that is easy to fix.
