Quick 94 Camaro 10-bolt question??

I just recently bought a rear eand off of a 94 camaro and it didn't have any paltes behind rotors? I thought that they should have shield plates right there to block the road derbri from getting on the rotors.

Yeah I wasn't sure because right now i have a nine-bolt in my iroc and it has the dust shields. I was just curious because the guy i bought the rear off of said it didn't have any dust plates.

The rear under my car is from a 91 GTA with the pbr rear brakes(same thing on a 94), and it never had dust shields either. That's just the way they come from the factory.

I believe some of the 89-92 nine-bolts with PBR's had the dust shields, some didn't. There was a discussion a whilte ago, but since the search function is down....

Yeah, the dust shields were kind of a 50/50 shot on the nine bolts, but all the pbr equipped ten bolts I've seen never have the dust shields on them.
