speedo cable and sensor
I have a 88 IROC. It is a Tbi/auto. The car has a cable driven speedo, and it has a speed sensor for the computer. I don't think it has the original transmission. It has a plug in on the rear of the tranny that does not match the plug hanging there, and I can't find any other place for the speedo cable to attach.
Do I need change out the sensor plug that is on the tranny for a older setup that has a sensor and gear for the cable.
If anyone could get me a pic of what I should have on this tranny I would appreciate it.

And your profile says 92 RS with V6. Not 88 IROC....
