Are TV cables different for carbed, TBI, and TPI 700R4 applications, or the same?

Are TV cables different for carbed, TBI, and TPI 700R4 applications, or the same?
Hi guys, I am finishing up a 305 that I swapped into my previously V6 83 Firebird. I used a 1987 305 and 700R4, with a CCC Qjet setup on top. Will the TV cable from a 305 carbed application be the same from a TPI or TBI car? I know the throttle brackets are all very, very different for these applications, but I was wondering if GM somehow made the cables interchange. I would imagine that a TPI TV cable would be way longer than a carb or TBI cable. By the way how do you adjust the TV cable? I didn't see an easy way to adjust on the engine or transmission end?

The cable itself should interchange. As fare as adjustment goes:
1.) make sure the cable is pushed all the way in and connect it to the throttle shaft.
2.) open the throttle blades to WOT, this should pull the cable out of the sleeve and you should hear some clicks.
3.) This is the max setting for the cable. You can adjust it a couple of clicks front or back if you must, but this is the life of the trans that you are adjusting. If you misadjust it, you will end up burning up the trans.
4.) If these settings just plain don't work, you might not have the correct cable and you will have to source the correct one.

There an adjustment button on the side of the cable near where the bracket holds the cable.

I also had a ?. Does different intake spacers cause problems? My new combo uses a Victor Jr with 2" spacer. I have the holley bracket but it's a long ways up there in the air. If I do the proper cable adjustment it should be fine correct?

Does anyone know the side of the cables? I picked up a cable for an 83 camato tbi that's 37 inches long, but the later year tbi and v6 cables are in the 43" area, did I get the wrong one? This is going on a carb 350 with a carter 600 carb, eldebrock rpm intake and a 700r4 trans
