My tranny seems to be shifting a bit differently lately.
I have a new rear end with 3.23 gears, and in just normal cruising the tranny will shift from first to second at about 15mph and second to third at around 30 (note that my speed is off about 5mph). This seems awfully low to me, but if I get on it, it will shift at 5000rpm.
When its downshifting I have to wait till it drops under 20mph from third to second, cuz otherwise it stays in third and the car is slow.
What does this sound like to you???

I am getting the fluid changed in it soon, I hope that helps.

I do have a tranny cooler.

i have factory 3.27 and with my factory govenor, that is about where my shift points were. i switched to a 4cyl govenor(light weights and cut away sides) and it raised my cruising shift point toabout 20 mph.
