ok so i installed a b&m transpack shift kit stage 2 and i was driving home and the car shifts great 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift but no 3-4 shift. i'm pretty danm sure i got all check ***** in the right spots, spacers and the TV cable adjusted right anybody got ideas. i'v read some of these other theads taking about the kickdown kit with the new TV vavle....is that what i'm needing?

there is no tcc lockup i was diving down the highway 60-65 at 2500 rpm

 

If you had lock up and 4th gear before the shift kit, you should still have them. No should not have to buy anything else to make it work as it did. Check the plug for lock up. There is an outside connection, and an inside connection. If you are lucky , this is the lock up problem.

 

I don't think our cars shift into 4th gear at Wide Open Throttle...I was looking into the kickdown valve that allows the transmission to shift into 4th gear...i wish the shift kit took care of that probelem but it doesn't

 

this is not at wot, i'm aware of the 4-3 downshift at wot,............... it is under nomal driving yes i will try checking the connections on the outside of the trans.............hopefully it is not inside the trans where the connection hooks up
