Theres really three ways:

A) There will be, or was at one time, an ID tag with all the vital information on one of the cover bolts... Chances are that this tag is long gone, if so, move on to B.

B) If you open up the cover you will find that all BW ring gears have the ratio actually stamped on the side of the ring gear in plain sight. You just have to wipe off all the old oil.

C) Count the ring gear teeth and then the pinion teeth... Devide by the latter.

Good Luck.

"Aftermarket" and "Borg Warner" are 2 words that never go very well in a sentence. There is little, if any, aftermarket stuff for this diff. Bearings and seals etc are available from for local parts store. If you look hard enough, gears and posi's are available but don't expect to find a lot, if you can even find any listings for it at all.

And that is why I turned down buying one complete with 1LE brakes for $150.
