Axle/Gears: 3.73; 3.42
either look up the RPO code or count the number of ring gear teeth and divide that by the number of pinion gear teeth.

RPO code will be the way to tell you what the car rolled out of the facory with 18 years ago, only way to tell whats actually in there right now is to pull the cover and count teeth.

Transmission: 700r4, corvette servo, 2200 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 bolt b-w, pbr discs
You should have a 3.27 borg warner but the rpo is the way to go
or as 1981Lt1 said pull the cover and start counting.
Check the RPO list located under the console lid for these Codes:
GH3 = 2:77 BW rear axle ratio
GW6= 3:27 BW rear axle ratio
G80= Limited slip rear
