Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
You need to take off the 2 nuts that hold on the slave cyl. That will let the fork come out of the throwout.

Then the 6 bolts that hold the bell housing to the motor.

Don't be standing underneath it when you take the 6th one out, because it WILL fall off.

I can't begin to imagine what hardware you could possibly be working on, that you can't get a tool onto. That sounds like you're working on the wrong thing.

ok this is what you do unbolt the tranny from the bell undo the 2 small bolts that hold on the slave first. you will be able to side it off and to the side. you can see the clutch fork then. If you have the tranny part way out slide it back in as far as you can dont worry about bolts. pull the clutch fork back jiggle and it will pop off the throwout bearing. then the tranny will slide out with ease. then undo the bellhousing from the engine. then take off the clutch loosen each bolt little by little in a circular or crisscross pattern dont take one out then the other do them all the same. then the flywheel. buy a 93 through 95 4thgen starter. The bell wont fit over your stock. i just finished this 2 weeks ago.

dont do what sofakingdom said it is much easier to take the trans off the bellhousing then you can sit up under the car and take the bell off with ease and it goes back together the same on the other car very easily with the bell on it just makes it harder.
