Are These Trannies Both The Same. Could I Swap In A T56 From A Ford Into My Camaro?

Whats Different About Them If They Are Different?

Car: Yes

Engine: Usually

Transmission: Sometimes

Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere

What is different, is the car they're designed to bolt into.

Every bolt pattern, mount detail, spline, etc. etc. on the outside is different.

The guts are all but identical. No advantage in either over the other, functionally.

Not a good idea. Just get the right thing.
