How do you define "better"?

"Better" is relitive because it depens on what your looking for. In stock form, it is not stronger, but it has lockup and OD, so your milage and highway driving experience is better. It is lighter than a 400, so that could make it better. It can be bolted into an F-body using all factory parts and no real modifications, so that could make it better.

Gear ratios for those transmissions are as followes:

1st 2nd 3rd 4th Rev
700R4 3.06 1.62 1.00 0.70 2.29
TH350 2.52 1.52 1.00 1.93
TH400 2.48 1.48 1.00 2.00

Shifting isnt controlled by gear ratios though, shift timing, speed, firmness is all controled by the valve body.
