camaro conversion from m/t to a/t, speedo problem
My brother purchased a 1986 camaro which originally had a v6 with a manual, the previous owner swaped in a 305 and a a/t. The problem is the old speedo is mechanical, and the new tranny is electric. Is there a simple way to hook up an aftermarket speedo to the plug on the tail housing? or would it be easier to find/buy a mech. replacement for the tail housing.

Dealer, transmission shop or junkyard. You'll need the housing and the gear to go with it.
