Does anyone know where I can find a set of 4.10 gears for a 9bolt (7.750)? Austraila or something... any good web sites would help.

The web address does not work? Does anyone know I can get ahold this company? ....Any place else? Does any one have 4.10 gears in there car? Street strip... How do you like it? I was going to try for 3.73 but a friend said to go with 4.10 with this trans. He said the 3.73 will not make that much difference.

 

What motor/mods? TPI's run outta of breath before using 4.10's
3.73's are a good gear for street driven 700r4 cars with factory height tires(approx 26" tall)
note: not 3.73 - 9-bolt is 3.70.....

 

Balanced and blueprinted motor. Flat top Hypertectic piston. Higher comp. 10:1. AFR 190cc heads shaved of a little to get compresion up. I think 64cc.bigger Comp camps 474 lift with 1.6 roller rocker arms. ported upper and lower plemium. 52mm throttle body. Best times at strip so far is 13.00 @ 101. 1.8 sec 60ft times. 700r4 trans with 2000 stall trok converter. I go through lights now at 4600 RPM roughly. (In 3rd). MY friend said that 3.70 will not make that much of a difference for the money. He said that 4.10 is still drivable on hiway and such. He has a corvett with a 700r4 and they tried the 3.73 and ended up putting in 4.10. What do you think?
