Stall Converters....

i've searched.... but i cant get exactly what i'm looking for....

I need a 2500-3000rpm stall converter, that doens't lag the motor 1% at idle, but at its stall speed hits like a nuetral drop on a tranny. Or something similar.

My current 2200rpm stall is way too low for my cam, and is giving me a hard time.

No stall converters work this way. They'll all take off like a regular converter, only stall when "flashed" - meaning they only go to the stall rpm when you smack the throttle. The only way you get 0% at idle/stop and 100% at x-rpm is with a clutch. Even a trans brake creates some load, as you're still turning the pump and moving fluid.
- A higher stall will help idle surging and lag, but it'll still act like any other converter when put into gear or when you take of normal/easy.
