When cruising at about 1900 rpm's the 700r4 in my RS is engaging and disengaging lockup. Cylcing back and forth. I've adjusted the tv cable setting, and replaced the tv cable when the event continued. Is this the early signs of clutch or converter failure?

Does'nt sound like a converter failure. More likely the TCC solenoid sticking or going bad.
