Engine: 350 tbi
Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt, 327 gears
need speedo help please
just put a different t5 in my 88 trans am. the old tranny has a vss, the new one was set up with a cable. i was told i could put the vss in the older tranny and it would work, well, it didnt. how do i get my speedo working? i know the speedo is fine, and i know the vss is fine. thanks for any help

did it bolt up fine? I put a VSS in a cable driven t5 from an 88 camaro. you might want to try using the gear off of the cable setup and put it on your VSS, maybe they're not meshing properly inside.
