87 rear end

can anyone tell me about a 9 bolt posi rear diff.. out of a 87 camaro thx.. yes it is factory..

Engine: 5.7 TPI

Transmission: 700-R4

Axle/Gears: BW 7.75" 3.27

Check out the FAQ section and look for "Everything I know about 9-bolt rearends" by DRAIN89. There is a lot of great info there.

Also, in the "Transmission and Driveline" forum, scroll to the bottom of the page and find "Display Options." Sort by "Thread Title", Sort order "Ascending" and sort from "Beginning". Jump to page 63 or 64, right around there, and you will find many threads about 9-bolt inquiries. Good luck with your search, with this rear you're going to need it.
