- spacers w/o vb mods = bang shifts at all part throttle driving, but weak/soft shifts @ WOT.
my stating "what the point in this would be" was saying why would you want harsh shifts under normal driving, but soft/weak shifts when you're at full throttle. - That'd be bass-ackwards for any driving situation(race/street/etc)
- spacers with vb mods = bang shifts all the time. Which just translates to rough shifting under all conditions and torture on trans internals.

- full vb mods include changing a few valves and re-springing several in the vb, as well as drilling the seperator plate out(4 holes sounds right, I'll have to look to remember...CRS again)
- any firm shift w/o a decent servo translates to band slippage. W/o a properly set-up vb it also can translate to clutch slippage. - Just because the shift feels firm doesn't mean it fully engages/disengages quickly and correctly.

Hey, and welcome to the forum.

This thread is nearly a year old, why don't you try making a completely new thread in the transmission section. That way, you will get more of a response.

While I'm here though, get the Trans Go kit. The cheap B&M and TCI kits are crap, you cant go wrong with Trans Go.
